The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with no decking is designed to maximize storage with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four side access, providing maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing offers maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into the corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel.
