The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each level supports a maximum storage weight of 1600 lbs. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, with an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Assembly is easy and tool-free, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction. The shelves feature a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and utilize sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking for a cost-effective solid surface.
