The Xtrawall® double-sided swinging pegboard panel systems with steel frames are engineered to optimize tool and parts storage while minimizing wall space usage. Each Xtrawall® unit comes equipped with commercial-grade standard round hole pegboard, made from durable, perforated high-density fiberboard (HDF), which is attached to both sides of a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel frame system. The units include industrial-strength steel pivot wall brackets and all necessary hardware for secure mounting to solid, concrete, or block walls; for hollow walls with studs, 2 in. x 6 in. wood headers are required. The double-sided pegboard storage offers a substantial 575 lb. load capacity per Xtrawall® swing panel system, making it ideal for tool cribs, maintenance rooms, and other space-constrained areas. The Xtrawall® swing panel system provides greater flexibility and storage options compared to traditional wall-mounted pegboard systems by utilizing visible double-sided pegboard storage to enhance usable tool storage area. For optimal tool retention, it is recommended to use 70000 series Durahook® locking pegboard hooks and accessories, which are designed to securely hold tools in place on the pegboard.
