Xtrawall® heavy duty double-sided swinging pegboard panel systems with steel frames are designed to hold a large amount of tools and parts while utilizing minimal wall space. These turnkey systems provide dense tool storage by expanding the available wall storage area, allowing for the installation of multiple Xtrawall® units from the wall to achieve 6-8 times the pegboard surface storage area compared to a flat wall. Each Xtrawall® unit includes commercial grade "standard round hole pegboard" made of durable, perforated high-density fiberboard (HDF), which is attached to both sides of the heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame system. The package includes industrial strength steel pivot wall brackets and all necessary hardware for secure mounting to solid, concrete, or block walls; for hollow walls with studs, 2 in. x 6 in. wood headers are required. The double-sided pegboard storage design and 500 lb. load capacity per Xtrawall swing panel system make it suitable for tool cribs, maintenance rooms, and other space-constrained areas. Additionally, the Xtrawall® swing panel system offers enhanced flexibility and storage options compared to any wall mount pegboard systems, utilizing double-sided visible pegboard storage to maximize usable tool storage area. For optimal tool holding capability, 70000 series Durahook® locking pegboard hooks and accessories are recommended, ensuring secure mounting over workbench areas or other work surfaces.
