Xtrawall® heavy duty double-sided swinging pegboard panel systems with steel frames are designed to hold a significant amount of tools and parts while utilizing minimal wall space. These turnkey systems provide dense tool storage by expanding available wall storage area, allowing the installation of multiple Xtrawall® units from the wall to offer 6-8 times the pegboard surface storage area compared to a flat wall. Each Xtrawall® unit features commercial-grade standard round hole pegboard made from durable, perforated high-density fiberboard (HDF) that attaches to both sides of the heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame system. The kit includes industrial strength steel pivot wall brackets and all necessary hardware for secure mounting to solid, concrete, or block walls; for hollow walls with studs, 2 in. x 6 in. wood headers are required. The double-sided pegboard storage provides a 500 lb. load capacity per Xtrawall swing panel system, making it ideal for tool cribs, maintenance rooms, and other space-constrained areas. The Xtrawall® swing panel system offers enhanced flexibility and storage options compared to traditional wall mount pegboard systems, utilizing double-sided visible pegboard storage to maximize usable tool storage when wall space is limited. For optimal tool holding capability, it is recommended to use 70000 series Durahook® locking pegboard hooks and accessories that securely attach to the pegboard, making it ideal for installation over workbenches, workstations, or other work area surfaces.
