The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, offering various heights, widths, and depths to fit nearly every facility. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and the add-on enables expansion with easy assembly requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for simple set-up. The unit features sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support, with top and bottom shelves using double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway, while the center shelf uses single rivet beams. Each add-on includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams, and single rivet horizontal beams adjustable vertically on 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while permitting sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily to improve fire safety and lower insurance premiums.
