The 360° fit system allows for height adjustment, and the ABS external shell is ANSI Z89.1-2014 impact rated, lightweight, and operable in temperatures from -30°C to 60°C. The GH400 is unique in the market as it is the first helmet solely employing Koroyd as its protective impact-absorbing material, outperforming EPS foam by 48% and preventing energy rebound during impacts. It includes antimicrobial wicking washable memory foam sweat-band padding for enhanced comfort and features 10 accessory slots to securely attach various equipment such as flashlights, protective eye shields, full face visors, and earmuffs. The 4-point washable chin strap, made from black polyester, is designed for comfort and fits earmuff use, complying with ANSI Z89. It also has an adjustable chin strap for a secure fit, with side adjustment points adapting to different head sizes. The helmet includes 3 cm cap mounted earmuff fitting slots, an adjustable fit system with ergonomic wings for neck support, and integrated clips providing 4-point coverage for securing goggles and headlamps. It meets type 1 class E standards.
