The helmet features a lower profile than conventional safety helmets and is equipped with an adjustable ratchet system for comfort. Its core material, Koroyd, is composed of 95% air, enabling lighter, smaller, and faster protection, which results in reduced user fatigue. The helmet is designed with a 360° fit system for adjustability and features an ABS external shell that is ANSI Z89.1-2014 impact rated, making it ultra-lightweight and usable in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. Koroyd serves as the sole protective impact-absorbing material in the GH400, outperforming EPS foam by 48% and effectively preventing energy rebound from impacts. Internal padding consists of antimicrobial, wicking, washable memory foam sweat-band padding for enhanced comfort. The helmet includes ten accessory slots for securely attaching items such as flashlights, protective eye shields, full face visors, protective earmuffs, and ID holders. It is equipped with a 4-point washable chin strap made from black polyester, designed for comfort during earmuff use and compliant with ANSI Z89 standards. The adjustable chin strap features side adjustment points for an ideal fit and greater stability. Additionally, it has cap-mounted earmuff fitting slots of 3 cm for compatibility with GE protective earmuffs and similar models. The adjustable fit system utilizes a rubber wheel that allows for size adjustments, complemented by ergonomically shaped wings that cradle the neck for added comfort. Integrated clips provide four-point coverage for securing elastic bands used for goggles and headlamps. This helmet meets Type 1 Class E standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
