The helmet features a lower profile than conventional safety helmets and includes an adjustable ratchet system for a customized fit. Utilizing Koroyd's innovative KOR material, which is composed of 95% air, this helmet offers lighter, smaller, and faster protection that reduces user fatigue. The 360° fit system allows for vertical adjustments, while the ABS external shell is impact rated according to ANSI Z89.1-2014 and can be used in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. The GH400 is the only helmet on the market featuring Koroyd as its primary impact-absorbing material, outperforming traditional EPS foam by 48% and preventing energy rebound upon impact. Additional comfort is provided by the antimicrobial wicking washable memory foam sweat-band padding. The design includes ten slots for securely attaching various accessories such as flashlights, protective eye shields, full face visors, and earmuffs. It is equipped with a 4-point washable chin strap made from black polyester, adaptable for earmuff use, and includes retained chin strap anchors that comply with EN12492. The adjustable chin strap features side adjustment points for an ideal fit, while cap-mounted earmuff fitting slots accommodate 3 cm accessory slots for compatible earmuffs. The helmet's adjustable fit system includes ergonomically shaped wings for added neck support, and integrated clips allow for secure attachment of elastic bands used for goggles and headlamps. This helmet meets Type 1 Class E standards for electrical protection.
