The safety helmet features a lower profile than conventional models and incorporates an adjustable ratchet system for optimal fit. It utilizes Koroyd's KOR material, which is composed of 95% air, making it lighter, more compact, and faster while reducing user fatigue. The helmet is equipped with a 360° fit system that adjusts up or down, an ABS external shell rated for impact under ANSI Z89.1-2014 standards, and is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C. Notably, the Koroyd material outperforms traditional EPS foam by 48% in impact absorption, preventing energy rebound during impacts. Internal comfort is enhanced by antimicrobial wicking washable memory foam padding, and the design includes ten accessory slots for secure attachment of various items, such as flashlights and earmuffs. It features a 4-point washable chin strap made from black polyester, designed to adapt to earmuff use, with a fixed anchor version compliant with ANSI Z89 and retained chin strap anchors meeting EN12492 requirements. The adjustable chin strap allows for side adjustments to secure the fit, while cap-mounted earmuff fitting slots accommodate 3 cm slots for compatibility with GE protective earmuffs. Additionally, the adjustable fit system allows for head size customization with an ergonomically shaped wing design that cradles the back of the neck. Integrated clips provide 4-point coverage for securing elastic bands used with goggles and headlamps. This helmet meets Type 1 Class E standards for safety compliance.
