Sunlite® 5 or 6-inch retrofit recessed downlights are engineered to upgrade existing light fixtures, providing a bright output of 1100 lumens, depending on the selected wattage. The color temperature can be customized at installation to 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K via a switch on the back of the fixture. These downlights are dimmable (10-100%) when paired with an LED compatible dimmer, with a high color rendering index of 90 CRI. Compatible dimmers include Leviton models 6674, 6672, RDL06, 752-DSM10, IPL06, and Lutron models SCL-153PH-WH, DVWCL-153PH, DVCL-153PR-WH, CTCL-153PDH-WH-C, S-600H-WH-CSA, D-600, and TTCL-100. They boast a long lifespan of 35,000 hours and offer comparable output to a 75-watt bulb while consuming only 15 watts of electricity, resulting in estimated annual energy costs of $1.45 based on usage of 3 hours per day at $0.11 per kWh. The fixtures are Energy Star certified, easy to install with a medium base adapter, and come with mounting hardware and installation instructions. Featuring a smooth trim style for maximizing beam spread, these ETL listed lights are free of harmful chemicals, making them suitable for use in entryways, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms.
