The kit includes a modacrylic flame-resistant vest that meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R Class 2 standards. It is compliant with ASTM F1506/NFPA 70E for Category 1 arc rating with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 6.4 cal/cm². The vest features hi-vis modacrylic solid material and is equipped with 2" flame-resistant silver reflective material for enhanced visibility. Additional attributes include a hook and loop front closure, two modacrylic flame-resistant mic tabs, flame-resistant black trim, a D-ring slot, and two inner pockets for storage.
