Friedrich® ZoneAire® Select PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) is designed for reliable performance and sustainability, utilizing R32 refrigerant with a lower GWP (Global Warming Potential). This energy-efficient line boasts EERs up to 12.0 and is compatible with various energy management thermostats (sold separately). The unit features corrosion-protected internal and external coils to enhance longevity, and its modular design allows for easy access to key components for cleaning and repairs, including washable, lift-out air filters. An internal diagnostic program can notify maintenance of component failures or operating issues. The Select models are FreshAire® IAQ ready, offering a range of indoor air quality accessories (purchased separately) and come standard with a power cord. This product is available in electric heat and heat pumps, with capacities ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 BTU. The construction includes galvanized zinc-coated steel wall sleeves and a steel base pan, which undergo an extensive preparation process and are powder coated for exceptional durability. Additionally, aluminum endplates help reduce outdoor coil corrosion. The PTACs feature a super-efficient refrigeration design, achieving EERs up to 12.0 and COPs up to 3.55. Warranty information includes a 2-year full warranty on parts and labor, along with a 5-year limited warranty.
