The ForNair® 4.5 CFM air compressor by Forney® Industries is a portable electric air compressor designed for maximum efficiency and performance with air tools and plasma cutting equipment. It operates at 2.0 HP, delivers a maximum pressure of 120 PSI, and has a noise level rated at 69 dB, making it suitable for indoor use across various job applications, such as framing, nailing, carpentry, and furniture making. The compressor features a low amperage draw of 12.5 amps (13.7 amps maximum) and a 100% duty cycle, with a quick recovery time of 15 seconds from 85-115 PSI and a pump-up time of 60 seconds from 0 to maximum PSI. It has an air delivery capacity of 5.5 CFM at 40 PSI and 4.5 CFM at 90 PSI, operates at a voltage of 120V, and requires running wattage of 1700 watts. The 4-gallon steel tank is designed in a cylinder style, and the oil-free pump type ensures maintenance-free operation. The compressor includes two 1/4 in (6.35 mm) quick connect fittings, an electric start type, and a convenient cord wrap for easy storage. The unit is ETL certified and comes with a one-year warranty. Additionally, it is optimized to operate with Forney® Easy Weld™ 251, 20 P plasma cutter or other standard plasma cutters requiring 2.5 CFM or less air pressure.
