Superscrape™ mats feature molded tread surface cleats that effectively scrape tough dirt and grime from shoes, making them ideal for use as a scraper mat outdoors or as a slip-resistant mat in wet areas. The mats include surface cleats that remove and trap dirt and sand below shoe level to prevent tracking, and they are slip-resistant even in wet environments, certified high-traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI). They are durable, grease/oil proof, and chemical resistant, with a lightweight flexible design that allows for easy handling and cleaning; they can be shaken off, hosed down, commercially laundered, or autoclave sterilized. Superscrape™ mats are welding safe and are recommended for outdoor scraper use or in wet areas where additional traction is needed. In terms of standards and testing, they are certified high-traction by NFSI, pass DOC-FF1-70 for surface flammability, and have an ASTM C1028-96 static coefficient of friction of 0.85 dry and 0.90 wet. For cleaning, the mats can be commercially laundered, sterilized in an autoclave, or washed by hand using a deck brush and a detergent with a neutral pH, followed by rinsing with a hose or pressure washer and hanging to dry, ensuring that the mat is dry before placing it back in service.
