Laminated bumpers provide a robust solution for protecting docks in low to medium traffic applications, making them ideal for use in loading docks within factories and warehouses. These bumpers can also serve as rub rails at the sides of truck wells. Each bumper is designed with customized construction features to accommodate unusual anchoring conditions, such as a flat plate on one side for welding to dock leveler curb angles. They offer wall protection by absorbing impacts from forklifts, utilizing fabric reinforced rubber pads cut from recycled truck tires. The rubber pads are laminated between steel angles and secured with 3/4" (19mm) rods, while the bumper itself is fastened to the dock surface using 3/8" (9.5mm) steel angles and/or flat plates depending on the selected model. The wall mounting hole size measures 7/8" (22mm) in diameter, and the bumpers can be installed in a horizontal or vertical orientation, with vertical installation generally providing the best protection. The P1 style features an angle on one side for anchoring and a flat plate on the other for welding. Econo bumpers come with a 3-month replacement warranty.
