Laminated bumpers are a durable method for protecting docks in low to medium traffic applications, specifically designed for use in factories and warehouses. They can also serve as rub rails at the sides of truck wells. The kit includes bumper components that feature customized construction options to accommodate unusual anchoring conditions, such as a flat plate on one side for welding to dock leveler curb angles. These bumpers provide wall protection to absorb impacts from forklifts, utilizing fabric-reinforced rubber pads cut from recycled truck tires. The rubber pads are laminated between steel angles and secured with 3/4" (19mm) rods, while the bumper is fastened to the dock surface with 3/8" (9.5mm) steel angles and/or flat plates, depending on the selected model. The wall mounting hole has a diameter of 7/8" (22mm), and the installation can be done in either horizontal or vertical orientation, with vertical generally offering the best protection. The standard model features angles on both sides for anchoring, and Econo bumpers come with a 3-month replacement warranty.
