The V-Gard H2™ safety helmet is a Type II head protection solution designed for superior comfort and versatility, featuring technology that helps protect against lateral impacts. It includes ANSI Z89.1 Type II certification with an integrated chinstrap, enhancing protection during slips, trips, and falls. Optional venting improves airflow and cooling, reducing heat stress. The helmet is compatible with nearly all V-Gard H1 and V-Gard accessories, facilitating integration with existing inventory for various industrial applications. Customization is easily achievable with thousands of existing logos and reflective stripes. It has a comfortable ratchet suspension that is adjustable with a gloved hand and features an antimicrobial treatment of the sweatband, crown pad, and ratchet pad with Ionic® High Purity Silver to combat odor-causing bacteria. Integrated headlamp strap clips allow for easy and secure attachment of lights. Suitable applications include confined space work, working at heights, emergency response, and search and rescue. The helmet complies with standards for non-vented designs under ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019), Type II, Class E, HT, and HV where applicable. It is ideal for markets such as construction, oil and gas, general industry, mining, and utilities.
