Laminated bumpers provide a durable solution for protecting docks in low to medium traffic applications, making them suitable for use in factories and warehouses. They can serve as rub rails at the sides of truck wells and feature customized construction options to accommodate unusual anchoring conditions, such as a flat plate on one side for welding to dock leveler curb angles. The design includes wall protection to absorb impacts from forklifts, with fabric reinforced rubber pads cut from recycled truck tires laminated between steel angles and secured using 3/4" (19mm) rods. The bumper is fastened to the dock surface with 3/8" (9.5mm) steel angles and/or flat plates, depending on the chosen model, and the wall mounting hole has a diameter of 7/8" (22mm). The bumpers can be installed in either horizontal or vertical orientations, although vertical installation generally provides optimal protection. The standard model features angles on both sides for anchoring, and Econo bumpers come with a 3-month replacement warranty.
