The V-Gard H2™ safety helmet is a Type II head protection solution designed for superior comfort and versatility, incorporating advanced technology for enhanced safety against lateral impacts. This helmet features ANSI Z89.1 Type II certification and includes an integrated chinstrap to provide additional protection during slips, trips, and falls. The optional MIPS® safety system further mitigates brain trauma by redirecting rotational forces in the event of an impact. For improved airflow and cooling, optional venting is available, while extensive accessory compatibility with nearly all V-Gard H1 and V-Gard accessories facilitates a variety of industrial applications and ensures easy integration with existing inventory. Customization is straightforward, allowing for the addition of thousands of existing logos, new logo creation, and reflective stripes. The helmet features a comfortable ratchet suspension that can be easily adjusted even with gloved hands and an antimicrobial treatment on the sweatband, crown pad, and ratchet pad using Ionic+® high purity silver to eliminate odor-causing bacteria. It is suitable for applications including confined space work, working at heights, emergency response, and search and rescue, and complies with standards such as ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019), Type II, Class C, HT, HV (if applicable). The helmet is ideal for markets including construction, oil and gas, general industry, mining, and utilities.
