The V-Gard H2™ safety helmet is a state-of-the-art Type II head protection device designed to enhance safety and comfort. It features ANSI Z89.1 Type II certification with an integrated chinstrap for increased protection against lateral impacts, complemented by the optional MIPS® safety system, which helps reduce the risk of brain injury by redirecting rotational forces upon impact. Additional attributes include optional venting for improved airflow and cooling, extensive compatibility with nearly all V-Gard H1 and V-Gard accessories for diverse industrial applications, and easy customization with existing logos and reflective stripes. The helmet also boasts a comfortable ratchet suspension that can be adjusted with a gloved hand and an antimicrobial treatment with Ionic®+™ high purity silver to eliminate odor-causing bacteria. It is suitable for applications such as confined spaces, working at heights, emergency response, and search and rescue, while meeting standards for non-vented protection per ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019), Type II, Class E, HT, and HV (if applicable). The helmet is well-suited for markets including construction, oil & gas, general industry, mining, and utilities.
