The V-Gard H2™ safety helmet is a Type II head protection device designed for superior comfort and versatility while incorporating advanced technology to enhance safety against lateral impacts. It features ANSI Z89.1 Type II certification and comes with an integrated chinstrap for added protection against slips, trips, and falls. The helmet can include an optional MIPS® safety system that helps redirect rotational forces to mitigate brain trauma during impacts. It offers optional venting for improved airflow and reduced heat stress, extensive accessory compatibility with nearly all V-Gard H1 and V-Gard accessories, and easy customization possibilities with thousands of existing logos and the creation of new logos, including reflective stripes. The comfortable ratchet suspension is easily adjustable with a gloved hand, and the antimicrobial treatment of the sweatband, crown pad, and ratchet pad features Ionic+® high purity silver to eliminate odor-causing bacteria. Additionally, integrated headlamp strap clips allow for easy and secure attachment of lights on the helmet. Suitable applications for the V-Gard H2™ include confined space work, working at heights, emergency response, and search and rescue. The helmet meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) standards for vented designs, categorized as Type II, Class C, HT, and HV (if applicable), making it ideal for markets such as construction, oil and gas, general industry, mining, and utilities.
