The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, with curb deflector, measures 24" x 36" and is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. This high-flow model features no overflows and installs under the catch basin's grating, prioritizing functionality over aesthetics. It slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, allowing for easy removal of sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, without the need to remove the grating. This design keeps everything at street level, making it especially valuable on construction sites and other areas with substantial pollutants. The Ultra-Grate Guard® is ideal for use with flat grate catch basins and is constructed from high flow woven material, ensuring effective sediment and pollution control.
