The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, measuring 24" x 28" x 4", is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways, ensuring effective stormwater management. It is suitable for use with flat grate catch basins and features easy installation under catch basin grating with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners. The guard allows runoff to flow through while blocking sediment and capturing oil, and it can be simply removed and cleaned with a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool. This product keeps pollutants at street level, eliminating the need to remove the grating and is ideal for construction sites and areas with large amounts of pollutants. Constructed from high flow woven material, this grate guard provides an economical and effective solution for draining swampy or low-lying areas during construction, efficiently trapping dirt, silt, mud, and debris while filtering only clean water to escape. It can be placed on an aggregate or haybale bed to maximize filtration efficiency and accommodates up to a 4-inch discharge hose, making it an essential tool for environmental protection in construction sites and urban areas.
