The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways, measuring 24" x 40". This high-flow model features no overflows and is specifically for use with flat grate catch basins. Its easy-to-install design slides onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners. Once installed, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed with a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool, eliminating the need to remove the grating and keeping everything at street level. Made from high-flow woven material, this grate guard ensures effective sediment and pollution control while maintaining functionality, making it especially valuable for high-pollution areas like construction sites.
