The Ultra-Grate Guard®, sediment only model, is designed to catch sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. Measuring 28" x 42", this high-flow model features no overflows and installs under the catch basin's grating. The Ultra-Grate Guard® slides onto the storm drain's grate and uses heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners to keep it securely closed. Once installed, sediment, dirt, silt, and other pollutants can be easily removed with a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool without the need to remove the grating, thus maintaining accessibility at street level. This product is especially beneficial for construction sites and other areas with large amounts of pollutants. It is designed for use with flat grate catch basins and is made of high flow woven material, ensuring effective sediment and pollution control while prioritizing functionality over aesthetics.
