The Ultra-Grate Guard™, Sediment Model, is designed specifically to capture sediment, oil, silt, debris, and other runoff before they enter waterways. Measuring 24" x 24", this unit features a high flow design with overflow ports, allowing it to effectively manage stormwater while maintaining a low-profile appearance. The product slides directly onto the storm drain's grate and is secured with heavy-duty hook and loop fasteners, ensuring it remains in place during use. Pollutants such as sediment, dirt, and silt can be easily removed using a broom, flat shovel, or similar tool without the need to remove the grating, thus keeping everything at street level. This functionality is particularly advantageous in construction sites and other high-pollution areas. The Ultra-Grate Guard™ is compatible with flat grate catch basins and is made from high flow woven material, ensuring optimal performance in sediment and pollution control.
