The Glowear® 8205HL-ECO recycled hi-vis vest is a Type R, Class 2 vest that meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 visibility requirements and is constructed from 100% recycled polyester mesh, ensuring both sustainability and durability. This vest features 2" reflective tape for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions and has a hook and loop closure for easy on and off. It is designed with dual sizing for a looser fit, accommodating wear over shirts, sweatshirts, or jackets, and is suitable for professionals in road construction, baggage handling, and municipal applications. Available in high-visibility lime and orange, each vest is made from materials equivalent to approximately 11 16.9 oz. (500 ml) plastic water bottles, produced by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles into polyester yarn through processes such as chip making and spinning, followed by knitting and dyeing. Key features include a durable, high-quality polyester construction for long-lasting use, a lightweight 3.3 oz. polyester mesh for breathability, ease of maintenance with machine washability, and recycled packaging made from 100% polyethylene materials.
