The JET® SSC series electric hoists are designed for commercial and industrial applications, emphasizing safety and durability. These hoists feature a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads beyond their rated capacity. Available in configurations for single or three-phase power, the single-phase models are equipped with thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while the three-phase models include a reverse phase relay for safeguarding against incorrect wiring. The hoists utilize an industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake to secure loads even during power interruptions, and their maintenance-free gear train is designed with a sealed oil bath for enhanced reliability. The JET® SSC series offers load capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift heights of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and custom lifts can be requested. Key features include a 24-volt push button controller with a cable strain relief system for durability, all-steel construction, NEMA 4X compliant push button control pendants, a durable powder coat finish, a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain, upper and lower limiting switches for additional safety, a thermal overload protection system, a duty cycle of 25%, and a prewired 230V motor with a current rating of 8 amps.
