The JET® SSC Series electric hoists are designed for safety and durability in commercial and industrial applications, featuring a slip clutch overload protection mechanism that prevents lifting loads above their rated capacity. Available in both single and three-phase configurations, the single-phase models include thermal overload protection to prevent overheating, while the three-phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay to safeguard against incorrect wiring. Each unit incorporates an industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake, ensuring load security during power interruptions, and a maintenance-free gear train with a sealed oil bath for enhanced reliability. The hoists come in capacities ranging from 1/2-ton to 5-ton with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, with custom lifts available. Key features of the JET® SSC Series include all-steel construction, NEMA 4X compliant push-button control pendants, a durable powder coat finish, Grade 80 black oxide coated load chains, upper and lower limit switches to prevent over-travel, a push-button controller with a cable strain relief system, and a duty cycle of 30%. The units have a load capacity of 1 ton, are prewired for 460V, and have a motor current of 12 amps.
