Each model incorporates a slip clutch overload protection mechanism, preventing damage by avoiding lifting loads above their rated capacity. They are available in single or three-phase configurations, with single-phase models including a thermal overload protection design to prevent overheating, while three-phase models are equipped with a reverse phase relay to safeguard against incorrect wiring. The hoists utilize an industry-proven DC electromagnetic brake for enhanced safety, ensuring that loads are held securely even during power interruptions. The maintenance-free gear train features a sealed oil bath for improved reliability and durability. The Jet® SSC Series is offered in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 5 tons, with standard lift options of 10, 15, and 20 feet, and the possibility of custom lifts.
