The Fibrelight Cradle is a man overboard recovery device designed for versatility and ease of use across various types and sizes of vessels, allowing a single crewmember to operate it efficiently as a boarding ladder, scramble net, or stretcher. The cradle is constructed from carbon fibre rods enclosed in flanged tubular webbing, which creates an incredibly strong structure. Regular inspections and minimal maintenance are required, eliminating the need for annual servicing. It is designed for use on rescue craft, rigid inflatables, ship lifeboats, and marinas, and has been effectively utilized in numerous other vessels and diverse industries. The cradle enables MOB recovery by securing one end to the craft while the outboard end is held away, allowing for safe guiding and hauling of the casualty in a parbuckling action.
