The JET® JLP-A series lever hoists are engineered for safety, reliability, and durability, making them ideal for light to medium-duty industrial applications. Included in the kit is a grade 80 black oxide coated load chain that enhances durability, along with an impact-resistant all-steel construction for additional protection. The industrial-rated alloy steel hooks provide 360-degree rotation for easy rigging and slowly stretch to indicate an overload situation. Equipped with needle bearings supporting the load sheave, the hoist increases efficiency and promotes smooth operation. The improved easy free chain design consists of a two-step, no-load, free chaining system that allows for quicker hoist positioning and slack chain take-up, while being engineered to prevent free chaining under load. The redesigned ergonomic grip ensures greater operator control and increased comfort, and the cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, are more durable than traditional stamped steel latches, maintaining compliance with lifting regulations. Additionally, the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design splits the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear, enhancing load security.
