The JET® S90 series hand chain hoists are engineered with all steel construction to ensure reliability and durability for light-duty industrial applications. This hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 ton, with standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, and custom lifts can also be arranged. The hoist features a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, heat treated load plates, and industrial-rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging while indicating overload situations through slow stretching. Designed for harsh environments, the heat treated load plates and case hardened corrosive resistant internal parts extend the hoist's lifespan. Needle bearings support the load sheave for increased efficiency and smooth operation. The safety latches, made from cast steel and secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, are more durable than stamped steel latches and comply with lifting regulations. Additionally, the compact body and lightweight design suit confined spaces and low headroom applications. The Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design provides greater load security and enhances safety by distributing the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear.
