The Datrex Maxflow Level 70 Newton Lifejacket/PFD is designed for continuous wear while working near shore or for easy access to safety, meeting the new Level 70N standard from the USCG that harmonizes approval across North America and replaces the Type III designation. It is both USCG and TC approved and conforms to ANSI standards. The lifejacket features a Maxflow system for enhanced user comfort and breathability, with a split foam design that provides a more uniform fit around the torso and reduces bulk. It includes mesh sides and shoulders for added airflow, contoured lightweight and durable flotation foam for freedom of movement, and true tailored sizing for modern users. The jacket is equipped with two 1" encircling belts with a heavy-duty zipper closure, a hidden belt to reduce snags, and two large pockets with hook and loop closures, pull tabs, and tether loops inside. Additionally, it has MOLLE attachment capability for accessories, a harness hole on the back panel for compatibility with fall harness protection, high visibility orange color with SOLAS grade retroreflective elements, and fleece-lined hand warmer liners behind the pockets. The product is compliant with certifications including USCG 160.064/4886/0, TC-20504-18, and ANSI/CAN/UL 12402-5.
