The JET® S90 series hand chain hoists are constructed with all steel to ensure reliability and durability in light-duty industrial applications. Available capacities range from 1/2 ton to 10 ton with standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts also offered. Key features include a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, heat-treated load plates, and industrial rated alloy steel hooks that can rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging while providing an overload indication through gradual stretching. The design includes heat-treated load plates and case-hardened corrosive-resistant internal parts to extend the hoist's lifespan. Needle bearings support the load sheave for improved efficiency and smooth operation, while cast-steel safety latches secured with Allen screws and lock nuts are more durable than stamped steel latches, ensuring compliance with lifting regulations.
