The JET® S90 Series hand chain hoist features robust all steel construction, designed for reliability and durability in light-duty industrial applications. This hoist is offered in capacities ranging from 1/2 ton to 10 ton, with standard lift options of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts available upon request. Key features include a Grade 80 black oxide coated load chain for enhanced durability, heat-treated load plates, and industrial rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging while indicating overload situations through gradual stretching. Built to withstand harsh environments, the heat-treated load plates and case-hardened corrosive resistant internal parts extend the hoist's lifespan. The hoist also incorporates needle bearings that support the load sheave for improved efficiency and smooth operation. The cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, offer greater durability compared to stamped steel latches and comply with lifting regulations. Its compact body and lightweight design make it suitable for confined spaces and low headroom applications. Additionally, the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load security by distributing the load across opposing sides of the ratchet gear, thereby increasing safety.
