The welded steel frame of this straight brake allows it to handle an 18-gauge mild steel capacity without the misalignment commonly found in many manual bending brakes. It is recommended for HVAC shops requiring additional length for custom ductwork. This unit features a 12-foot (144") bending length, enabling efficient handling of long runs, and can bend 18-gauge mild steel and 22-gauge stainless steel across its entire length. The maximum bend angle is 135°, and the bending leaf is equipped with a precisely machined single blade that maintains a tight bending radius. The clamping and bending components are made of cast iron, machined for tight tolerances, minimizing costs and waste. A material stop rod ensures repeatability between bends, while two large counterweights assist in bending at full capacity without physical strain. The heavy-duty steel floor stand is designed at a comfortable height to reduce operator effort and enhance production efficiency.
