Compact, powerful, and designed for precision, the Elite EVS lathes are equipped with a variety of features that make them ideal for educational institutions, small workshops, and engineering labs. These lathes include certified Meehanite® castings, an electro-magnetic brake, a three-jaw chuck, and ball bearing-mounted steady and follow rests, complemented by CNC style lighting and an enclosed splash guard. They are CSA/CUS certified and offer a 4-position carriage stop, standard chuck guards for enhanced safety, and a front-facing chip pan for easy chip removal. The hardened and ground gears in the headstock minimize vibration and deflection, while the integrated locking tool cabinet is included in the stand for the 12" lathe. The inverter drive system allows for infinitely variable spindle speeds, with an LED RPM readout for precise turning, and a two-speed gearbox facilitates low speeds ranging from 40-365 RPM to high speeds from 165-2000 RPM.
