Product Details
The NC hydraulic press brake weighs 8,800 lbs. and features a rigid steel frame designed for durability in various industrial applications, including industrial shops, maintenance shops, and R&D shops. It employs an encoder-controlled stroke and back gauge system, offering 2 Digital Readouts (DROS), which can be mastered in just 5 minutes. The hydraulic system operates in three modes: jog mode for setup, manual mode for enhanced control over descent and return, and automatic mode for full production. It is equipped with two encoder-controlled hydraulic cylinders that move the top beam, while a digital readout displays the downward stroke position for precise bending adjustments. The top beam pressure and stroke position can be altered within seconds, and a timer can be set for bend delay to maintain the shape of the bend. Two hand wheels allow for positional adjustments of the beam and back gauge across its width, and a foot pedal facilitates stroke movement, keeping hands free for material handling. The motorized back gauge operates on a solid ball screw trolley mechanism with its own encoder and Digital Readout. A parallel mechanism on the beam ensures synchronized operation of the top and bottom dies for enhanced bend quality. The press brake is built with a heavy electrowelded frame from solid steel for low maintenance and long-lasting accuracy. The upper beam rides on a hardened, stabilizing track supported by three axes of bearings for consistent high accuracy at any stroke position. Additionally, the kit includes a set of hardened single-Vee American tooling and accepts standard press brake tooling, providing a diverse range of options. The package comes with front material rests (or support arms) to assist with material handling.
