The Baileigh® 20-ton press brake machine is engineered for bending, punching, and shearing with appropriate tooling, making it ideal for producing small parts like flanges and brackets on a flat surface. It is recommended for full industrial production applications such as shipbuilding yards, boiler manufacturers, and nuclear sectors, particularly for parts that are thick yet not wide due to the limited die size. This machine features a robust 5 HP motor that generates up to 20 tons of pressure and has a 12" stroke length. It operates on 220-volt 3-phase power and is equipped with an industrial-grade hydraulic system positioned on top of the press brake to minimize flex. Designed for ease of use, it allows quick operator training, with anyone able to learn its operation in just 15 minutes. The bending stroke is controlled via a foot pedal, freeing the operator's hands to manage the material. The machined table stands at a height of 39", ensuring the material remains level without the need for manual alignment. A quick-release tooling system enables rapid tooling changes, and the kit includes multi-V tooling comprising a V-opening die and V post. Numerous additional tooling sets are available, and custom sets can be created for specific projects.
