Designed with a universal gearbox to allow for a wide range of threading without gear changes, and Turcite-B coatings between the bed and carriage to provide smooth and accurate movement, these machines provide the perfect blend of performance and reliability you can come to expect from JET® Elite. The kit includes a 4-position carriage stop, an anti-float design that eliminates backlash in the cross slide, and an enclosed coolant system that contains excess coolant for increased safety. Additionally, the front-facing chip pan allows for easy chip removal, while nylon safety gears in the end train prevent overloading and increase safety. The one-shot lubrication system in the carriage reduces maintenance needs, and a shear pin in the lead screw disengages the feed when overloaded to prevent damage to the apron and headstock.
