Wilton® Brute Force™ bridge C-clamps are designed for heavy construction and fabrication, featuring a drop forged frame and a black oxide coating that provides resistance to corrosion. These clamps offer a clamping force of up to 40,000 lbs, with spindles that are full length and machined from a single piece of square, cold drawn steel that is tempered and hardened. The square spindle heads are engineered to withstand heavy wrench tightening, while additional features include a hot upset square head on the spindle for enhanced torque resistance, a large diameter rolled thread, and a hardened point that ensures smoother operation and increased strength. The extra heavy-duty models are specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial applications, such as those found in shipbuilding.
