Key safety features include slip clutch style overload protection that prevents lifting loads beyond its rated capacity and an exclusive patented fused brake system that reduces maintenance costs and limits downtime. Available in capacities of 1/4 ton to 20 tons and standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet, with custom lifts also offered, the JET® L-100 is engineered to perform in harsh environments. It includes double sealed ball bearings supporting the load sheave for efficiency, a Grade 100 corrosive resistant plated load chain that is 20% stronger than Grade 80 load chain, and heat-treated load plates. The industrial-rated alloy steel hooks rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging and slowly stretch to indicate an overload situation. The heat-treated load plates and case-hardened corrosive resistant internal parts extend the hoist's life, while cast-steel safety latches, secured with Allen screws and lock nuts, offer greater durability compared to stamped steel latches. The lightweight design and smaller body make it ideal for confined areas and low headroom applications, and the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design enhances load stability by splitting the load to opposite sides of the ratchet gear.
