Ideal for wet vacuum applications, the liquid shutoff assembly limits the intake of vacuumed fluids when the drum is full, preventing damage to the exhaust silencer. The float ball rises as the liquid level rises, blocking the vacuum inlet of the PowerQuad™ engine, which ceases vacuum operation. The wire cage with internal float ball mounts to the underside of the drum cover and replaces the cartridge filter. This assembly is compatible with GuardaAir® PowerQuad™ 20, 30, and 55 gallon drum vacuums and vacuum generating heads. The kit includes a 20/30/55 gallon wire cage coalescing filter, installation hardware, wire cage, and ball float.
