The Jet® L-100 series hand chain hoist features robust all steel construction, designed to excel in demanding industrial environments. It includes safety features such as slip clutch style overload protection, which prevents lifting of damaging loads beyond its rated capacity. The patented fused brake system, exclusive to Jet®, reduces maintenance costs and limits downtime. This hoist is available in capacities ranging from 1/4 ton to 20 tons, with standard lifts of 10, 15, 20, and 30 feet; custom lifts are also available. The design incorporates double sealed ball bearings that support the load sheave, enhancing efficiency and ensuring smooth operation. It uses a grade 100, corrosion-resistant plated load chain that features a more compact link, which is 20% stronger than grade 80. Heat treated load plates and industrial rated alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees for easy rigging are also integral to its design. The lightweight structure is suited for confined areas and low headroom applications, and the Weston style double ratchet pawl brake design allows for improved load distribution.
