3M™ 2525 flatback tape is designed for holding, splicing, or masking applications that require high adhesion strength, high temperature capability, and high backing strength. The tape is moisture resistant and features high visibility. However, it is not recommended for outdoor applications or prolonged exposure to sunlight, as it may become very difficult to remove. The tape can withstand temperatures of up to 300°F for 1 hour and is made with an orange flatback paper and rubber adhesive.
