3M™ 256 flatback tape is designed for masking, bundling, holding, and splicing operations that require color identification. This tape adheres to a variety of surfaces including paper, film, fabric, and yarn. It is printable with standard flexographic inks and can be easily marked using ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, and rubber stamps. The tape is not suitable for outdoor exposure and can be removed easily. It can withstand temperatures of up to 200° F for 1 hour. The product features a white flat back paper with a rubber adhesive.
