3M™ 256 flatback tape is designed for masking, bundling, holding, and splicing operations that require colors for identification. This tape adheres to a variety of surfaces including paper, film, fabric, and yarn, and is printable with standard flexographic inks. It can also be easily marked with ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, and rubber stamps. The tape is not intended for outdoor exposure and can be removed easily. It withstands temperatures up to 200° F for 1 hour and features a white flat back paper with rubber adhesive.
