3M™ 256 flatback tape is designed for masking, bundling, holding, and splicing operations requiring color identification. This tape adheres to various surfaces including paper, film, fabric, and yarn, and can be printed on with standard flexographic inks. It is easily marked with ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, and rubber stamps. The tape is not intended for outdoor exposure and can be removed easily. It is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200° F for 1 hour. The tape features a white flat back paper with rubber adhesive.
